Nestled away in the East of the Fleurieu region in South Australia is the quaint, and sometimes overlooked wine region of Langhorne Creek. It’s almost like time forgot this place. It is quiet and relaxed but with a produce standard punching well above its weight. Visiting this wine region helps you to slow down relax and enjoy the finer things in life.

Following a hearty lunch with country hospitality at Bridge Hotel passengers climb aboard a comfortable wagon seating 8 to 10 people and trot along the road powered by an original 2 Horse power. The horses carefully selected for their outstanding temperament, work ethic and personality, meticulously cared for and enjoying the outing, especially at the Cellar Door stops when engaging with their guests and eating tasty treats.

With ample time at each stop to enjoy the pick of the bunch at the Cellar Door’s, each stop provides a unique experience- Bleasdale with its museum walk through and step back in time viewing their magnificent lever press from the 1800s. Kimbolton with the modern vibe, customer driven approach and delicious Baked cheese dish and Bremerton with that eclectic mix of contemporary history, art and providore coupled with award-winning Wines and being one of only a handful of sister owned Cellar Doors in all of Australia.

This experience provides an unforgettable afternoon of friendship, uniqueness and old world charm that cannot be found anywhere else in South Australia.

Your knowledgeable driver, the owner of the horses and the business is engaging, knows the history of the area and will answer any questions you may have about the care of the horses.

Winter is an incredible time to experience this with the Langhorne Creek mild climate and quiet atmosphere this experience is definitely one to add to your bucket list.
